Çocukluk ve gençlik yıllarım çok zor şartlarda geçti. Liseyi bitirdikten sonra fark dersleri vererek ilkokul öğretmeni oldum. Beş yıl öğretmenlikten sonra Emniyet Teşkilatı’na geçtim. Emniyet Teşkilatı’nın çeşitli birimlerinde ve yurt dışı Türk Elçiliklerinde polis memuru olarak koruma görevleri yaptım. 1983 yılında amir oldum. Ankara Emniyet Müdürlüğü’nde iken emekli oldum. Başımdan geçen veya başkalarının başına gelen gerçek olayları yarı mizahi şekilde anlatmak istedim. Okuyacaklarınız tamamen gerçek yaşanmış olaylardır.
